I would like to build the circuit on page 5 of the DV2031S2 user manual: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/sluu023b/sluu023b.pdf

I am confused regarding the footnote at the bottom of the schematic that says "see application note for additional details".  It seems to be referring to diode D6B and D7A.  I cannot find the application note that it is referring to.  I am assuming that D6A and D6B are to keep the battery from discharging through the power supply through R21 but I am not sure about D7A or D7B.  Please explain the need for two diodes in each of these positions and what the purpose is of diodes D7A and D7B.
