BQ76942: High-side Current Measurement

Hi! We are about to start a new BMS design and the BQ76942 just fits perfectly, but there is some room for improvement, like having a 'high-side' current measurement instead of a 'low-side'. Is TI planning to release the BQ76942 with this feature?

    Hi David,

    There are no plans for a device with this feature - all of our devices measure current on the low-side. If you can explain a little what is driving this need, I can feed this information to our systems engineering team since they are working to define the next generation of battery monitors.
