hi all,

 i have to design dc-dc power supply using ucc28600 ic. i use slvc104 design software to determine value. but till i m not aware about its over voltage protection operation. i m not aware abut datasheet given data. any body help me plz........

    UCC28600 achieves its over voltage protection through the bias winding on the main transformer. Its over voltage protection is specified in the datasheet, page 4. Its OVP covers both line OVP and load OVP.

    Its OVP thresholds are set up by ROVP1, ROVP2 and turns-ratio of the bias winding to the primary winding, and to the secondary winding. Page 7 shows how to calculate ROVP1 and ROVP2.

    Corresponding to these formulas, fill in its design tool (sheet QR Design Tool) with design target values in cell C10 through C43, and F33.  The design results are shown from cell C71 through C91. After that, use sheet QR Simulator to verify/adjust the design results to your design specs.
