BQ76952: How to configure the solution of 8 strings of batteries

We designed an 8S solution to short-circuit C8~C15, leaving only C16 and C1~C7, and found that the voltage of C16 would jump to 0 and -0.5V probabilistically. Is it a problem with the short circuit design? Brushing the corresponding logic program to 16S will not cause a jump.

Hi Che,

I am surprised that the VC16 voltage is reading zero and negative values. This is not normal behavior. Can you share a schematic of your cell connections to the device?

Thanks Che. This looks okay. Can you share more of the schematic including the cell input resistors / capacitors especially for VC16?
