Hi,
my customer needs to adjust Vout in steps of 20mV (from 1.8V to 22V).
Do we have a LDO / Buck with a digital control interface to allow such functionality?
Thanks
Josef

Hi Febin,
Vin 23-26VDC
Iload_max 100mADC (constant load current typ. 1-5mA)
Vout adjustable from about 1.8V up to 20V (or if possible to 22V)
Yes I2C (or SPI) for dynamically tune the Vout. Settling time is not as important.
Please advise on possible solutions.
Best Regards
Josef
Hi Josef,
We do not have anything programmable with I2C or SPI. However we do have something that can meet this intent with our ANY OUT devices. The concept with the ANY OUT device is to include the resistors in the resistor divider directly inside the LDO. Then you tie the correct resistors to GND to set the output. You can use an IO bus to tie these resistors to GND to dynamically change Vout. You can also use the following blog to learn how to increase the resolution to meet the customer needs. I would suggest using the TPS7A4701 if you choose to go this route.
Thanks,
Stephen
