Hi,

Can you suggest a microcontroller for use with TLC6983

Use Case:

Driving a 16x6 RB (Red-Blue) matrix.

There is no moving graphics to be displayed. Just a combination of red and blue dots to be displayed.

Are MSP430FR series microcontrollers suitable for our application?

    Hi Akash,

    Yes, MSP430 series microcontrollers is a good choice for your application. We have a TLC6983EVM in the official link. This TLC6983EVM uses two TLC6983 to drive 32*32 RGB LED Matrix and customer can use MSP430F5529 Launchpad to debug, and we also provide demo code for customer to light the LED Matrix. It will help you a lot when design the system.
