Hello.

I am using the DRV103 for the one of my application for the break enable and disable.

In DRV103 Pin 1 connected to 91K ohm resistor for 30%duty cycle.

Pin 2 connected to 100nF/25V Ceramic capacitor for 100ms Dealy.

Pin 3 connected to 205K resistor for frequency setting.

P-ch MOSFET part number is IRF9Z24N

I am getting the delay 100ns Correctly but, after the delay PWM voltage is +15 V to -16V coming.

Can any one suggest why these is happen.

Hi Uday,

70A is a very high current so you'll need a standalone high side or low side driver that allows you to connect to an external fit. The DRV103 device has an internal fet that is meant to connect a load to ground (since it is a low-side driver), not a switch to ground, as shown below:

However, what you'll need for a 70A load is a something from this product folder:

Thanks for your review comments.

The Basic Requirement is as below

Over Excitation Voltage = 24VDC

Over Excitation Power = 96W

Holding Voltage = 4VDC

Holding Power =2.7W

Over Excitation time = 150ms.

so the MOSFET inside the DRV103 can satisfy above requirement or should we have to go for the external P-ch MOSFET.

Holding Voltage = 4VDC

Holding Power =2.7W

Over Excitation time = 150ms.

so the MOSFET inside the DRV103 can satisfy above requirement or should we have to go for the external P-ch MOSFET.

Hi Uday,

Sorry for the delay.

Can you confirm whether your load needs 70A?

The DRV103 can only support 3A and limits the current through its currently limiting feature at 3.5A typ.

Therefore if 70A is needed, DRV103 will not be a good fit for your system.

Hi Uday,

Our low side switches with an internal FET only support up to 3A.

You will need to use a low side or high side driver with an external FET.
