Hi Ning,

As the customer did not see much requirement from their other devices on the board requiring a 4 layers PCB, they would like to know what are the key consideration if they go ahead to design BQ25600 on a 2 layer board.

Is 4 layers mandatory for BQ25600?

4-layer is not mandatory. Please double-check if 2-layer board may meet their thermal performance.
