"Extended commands are available to turn the LEDs on and off for test purposes"

but they are not defined SLUUBW5 document

LEDS ON and OFF command is documented in the TRM, per inspection into the code, send MAC subcommand 0x0030 to register 0 could turn the LED ON and Sending 0x0031 to register 0 could turn the LED OFF

"couldn't make it work, it seems to light the gauge up once but then sitting it it in a loop sending 30 and 31 alternating it didnt flash"

I tried it on my side with an EVM configured to HDQ mode, I found it works as expected.

1: Please make sure to send command 0x0030 to register 0 to turn ON the LED, 0x0021 to register 1 to turn OFF the LED

2: Make sure the LED_COMM configuration register in dataflash is configured correctly, for my case in HDQ mode, I configured the gauge to work in 4LED mode by writing 2 to this register.

For I2C Mode, can you advise how many LEDs are used in your customer project, how does the LEDs are driven by hardware, how the the LED_COMM register is configured based on the LED usage?

Can you upload the customer schematic on LED driving and the configuration of LED_COMM register in dataflash? Present driving mode is low for LED on and high for LED off
