BQ76952: CC2 Current not zero when no current is flowing trough the sense resistor

Part Number: BQ76952

Hi,

My bq76952 measures the wrong current when I read from the CC2 current.

The CC2 current sometimes becomes zero but most of the time it gives values around 100mA (positive and negative). But it supposed to be 0 mA because there is no current flowing trough the sense resistor.

I tried to solve this with the calibration of the broadoffset but this make the measure worse.

  • Hi Rayvano,

What is the value of your sense resistor? The LSB of the CC2measurement is 7.6uV and it is normal to see some small variation (like +/- 1 LSB). For a 1 mOhm sense resistor this would be +/- 7 mA.

    Regards,

    Matt
