I have TI part number TPS40210DGQR which arrived with copper/gold color leads, it seems to look like it has oxidation.
I saw at datasheet that this part number has NIPDAU | NIPDAUAG lead/ball finish
So it is ok to leads have a copper/gold color?

Hi Iliana,
Thank you for posting to the E2E forum.
Can you share a picture if the device / leads - interpretation of a color is sometimes misleading when done verbally.
Can you also confirm that the devices arrived with a proper sealing.
Can you also share a picture of the label which should stick on the package.
Thanks,
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
I'm attaching pictures.
This material is a transfer from another facility, it came just inside a box (not vacuum sealed), also it's MSL 1
Date code: 1807
So let me know your comments.
Hi Iliana,
I also think that this color is due to oxidation of the leadframe.
Esp. when checking the seal date which shows 06/22/18 (so more then 3 years) and the transport package was not vacuum sealed anymore.
