Hello TI,

I have two questions: After designing another charger TI provided me with a BQ2588X checklist afterward. Is there a BQ246XX schematic checklist?

Also, If I want to just use the gerber file provided on TI's website for the BQ246XX EVM can I send this out for production? Also, is it a 4 layer board?

Dear Brendan,

There is not currently a BQ24600 schematic checklist, however there is a schematic checklist for the BQ24610 and BQ24650: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/791790/faq-bq24610-bq24650-bq24610-bq24650-schematic-review-design-tips

As stated in the EVM User Guide, "This evaluation board/kit is intended for use for ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT, DEMONSTRATION, OR EVALUATION PURPOSES ONLY and is not considered by TI to be a finished end-product fit for general consumer use."

It is indeed a 4-layer board.
