A customer has requested a product recommendation that meets the conditions below.

1. Products applicable to tablet PCs (Fuel Guage IC, Battery Charger IC)

2. Using Battery one cell

3. Recommend if you have Fuel Gauge + Charger IC

    Hello MJ,

    Sorry for the delay.

    The BQ40Z50-R4 is the best suited for notebook applications, it has the most gauging options and can be configured for 1S-4S packs.

    The BQ28Z610-R1 is also a good option if the it is a 1S-2S pack. Both these gauges have integrated protections.

    If you do not want integrated protections and it is a 1S pack, you can use the BQ27z561 which is ideal for only gauging 1S systems.

    For the charger, I would recommend making a separate post for the charger team by linking one of the chargers you're considering.

    Things needed for the charger IC recommendation: Input voltage/current, charge current, number of cells, communication interface.

    If your input voltage is 5V with a 1S pack and I2C communication, the BQ25601 may be a good starting point.
