It would be very useful if the BOM of the eval kit SLUUB2ZB, REVISED Aug 2020, included the core information.
In general, our experience has been that contacting the vendor to obtain further information about the design of the part used in the eval kit, is complicated.
Our motivation is to make the TI part work in an optimal manner in a design that will be different- and we have to scale the magnetics from the Eval kit version.
In order to do so, all we need is the core used in the eval kit: from there we can get the cross-section, loss characteristics of the ferrite etc.
Vendor may not be willing to share this information although they obtained the design information from TI group involved with UCC28782 eval kit design. And we perfectly understand that.
They want to know our plan, production etc...which we may not be in a position to divulge at an early stage.
So would it be possible to get the ferrite information for the Eval kit?
