UCD9248PFC - Did not send PWN signal.

We are using UCD9248PFC for sequential control of power. However, there were often cases where normal power was not output from the voltage converter, which caused problems with the reliability of the system. It was confirmed that the PWM signal was not normally output and was set as a low signal if the cause was not operated while identifying the cause. However, in some cases, it may operate when rebooted again. I want to hear your opinion on this.

Hi,

The issue is it can't power on correctly or would randomly shutdown during normal operation?

What is the condition when fault occurs and is there any fault trigger that you can observe?

In the abnormal state, there is no output of the PWM signal to the DPWM-1A .(pin 21)

No other fault triggers exist. This is a problem that often occurs when system power is applied and cannot be applied.

However, it is operating normally on other boards on the same board. Is the product currently mounted on the assembled board wrong?

Hi,

If it occasionally happens and can't fin the same symptom on other boards, It probably is the assembly issue.

If there is no PWM signal from controller suddenly, it should have fault trigger during operation. Not possible sometime it has PWM signal and sometime it hasn't without triggering fault.

Personally, I agree with your idea. I think it's a single product error.
