LP5012: Unable to sink the current entirely

Part Number: LP5012

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer is currently facing some issues with the LP5012 chip. He is facing some difficulties interfacing with this IC despite using the datasheet extensively. He is unable to sink the current entirely, i.e the LED stays on.

He have used the values of the capacitors and resistors as suggested by the datasheet and is using a 24 RGB strip using the pins of the LP5012 to sink the current of the 24V RGB strip. However, he notice that the 2 of the LED stays on despite him using the arduino lib to turn it off.

Attached are the schematics. Few things to take note, he have changed the values of C1 and R2 to 1uF and 2.7k ohms respectively, also he have removed mosfets from the Pins to the IC and short it directly to the LED's RGB pins instead.

Thanks and regards,

Art
