TPS2001C: Help to specify operating current

Part Number: TPS2001C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2069C, TPS2065C

Hello,

I want to use the TPS2001C to switch the input voltage of the DCP010512DBP DC/DC converter. but i'm not sure if this is the correct choice.

After the transient, the maximum current sinked by the 5V is 0.2A, but the DCP010512DBP has a high inrush current (near 2A).

The DCP010512DBP datasheet says that if the input voltage drops bellow 4V, the device may not start properly. The TPS2001C says that when the current is above the Ios parameter, it drops the voltage near to 0 while the current is held to a certain limit. So, I understand that the right choice is that the Ios current to be the maximum as possible to garantee I dont have any problem with the DCP010512DBP startup.

Am I correct about this? Or am I misunderstanding the datasheet infos?
