I think the LM5122 operates with current mode control, but is it possible to operate with voltage mode control?

    Hi,

    In normal application, sensed inductor current is needed in order to use current mode control.

    You can short the RS, there the device cannot sensed the current. So it is the voltage mode control.

    If so, there will be no current limit function, and the dynamic response will be worse, you may need to do more system evaluation.
