BQ25700A: Replace a BQ25703 with a BQ25700

Hello,

I would like to replace the BQ25703A with the BQ25700A following the schematic below, They're pin to pin compatible and the datasheet are very similar, they only difference is that the BQ25700A communicate (host control interface) with the USB/PD Controller thourgh SMBus when the BQ25703A communicate with the I2C Bus. The I2C and SMBus are very similar, on the datasheet they have the same power rail and the same pullup resistor value.

So, is it possible to make a schematic of power delivery with TPS65987D and BQ25700A ? (Max power charge <45W)

    I am not familiar with TPS65987D (for example, whether or not it can do SMBus), so I would recommend posting a new thread with TPS65987D as the title. In terms of power capability, you can replace BQ25703A with the BQ25700A. In other words, if TPS65987D is capable of SMBus and capable of the same communication commands, then it should be ok.
