Suggestion for 50A Regulator

Hi,

Could you please suggest me a 50A regulator?

1. Input voltage - 5V.

2. Output Voltage - 0.72V

3. Output Current - 50A.

4. Soft start - Better if its around 0.5ms.

5. Type - Good if its step down converter

Earlier we were using two 40A regulator  TPS543C20 .Now since the current requirement is reduced we planned to switch to one 50A part instead.

    Hi Nireeksha,

    I typically recommend the 2xTPS543C20 or 2xTPS543C20A for the converter based 50A solution. Another option would utilize the 2xTPS546D24A.

    Using a power module based solution (integrated inductors), I would recommend the 2xTPSM41625, TPSM831D31, or the PTH08T250W.

    Using a controller in which case external FETs and/or power stages are needed, I recommend the TPS40425 or the TPS40428.
