Dear E2E,

Below is the background:

BQ24610: charge a 5S2P 18650 battery pack via PSU 24V.

The battery pack rating is 5000mAh/18V/90Wh, 15V(total overdischarge protection voltage)-21V(total overcharge protection voltage).

Charge current: 1.5A, max charge current: 2.5A, charge current protection: 3.5A+/-1A, delay 2s+/-1s, auto-recovery.

The battery pack uses BQ78350DBTR-R1 and BQ7692003PWR.

    Dear Fiona,

    My schematic review is as follows:

    1. The fast charge current is 2.5 A. The charge current will attempt to go to this value assuming you are both in fast charge and not current limited by IINDPM.

    2. The precharge current is 100 mA.

    3. The IINDPM current limit is 5.92 A.

    4. 5.22 hour safety timer.

    5. 20.8 V regulation for charge voltage.
