1. Does the thermal pad of ACTUAL package has PIN 1 indicator?

2. If yes, could you please check the exact length information of PIN 1 ID?

Hi Ella,

I have one of the -Q1 parts on my desk and there is indeed a pin 1 marker on the bottom of the package as shown in the picture as well as a pin 1 marker on the top of the package.

As for the length information, I cannot find the specification readily. What is the reason for the need for this information? The recommended footprint does not include the pin 1 marking. Do they want to include it in the footprint so that it is easier to identify on the board?

Thank you for your quick checking.

As for the length information, my customer always requires the exact pad size while generating their library and footprint for all devices. I have mentioned that the PIN 1 ID is an optional one, not a mandatory one, but they need this length information as the physical package has its marker as you kindly checked. Could you please let me know the length information?
