We are building a product that has CSD17578Q3A and we want to replace them with the Toshiba part TPN2R903PL, attached are the datasheets of both the parts.

As CSD17578Q3A is not available now can you please suggest if we can replace this with the mentioned Toshiba part. This is a urgent requirement. Your earliest reply is greatly appreciated.

Pramod,

I believe you are using this part in a DC load switch type application, if this is the case then the Toshiba part should be able to replace the CSD17578Q3A as it is lower resistance and higher charge.

These MOSFETs are used as high side and low side drive FETs for a DC-DC converter, Used with TPS55288.

Pramod,

We believe the part will work ok., though we highly recommend you test to make sure.

You may see higher switching losses for the high side FET, lower conduction losses on the low side FET and the controller may be a little warmer as it is driving ~50% higher Qg.
