BQ40Z80: Short-circuit in discharge, ASCD1 and ASCD2 threshold, delay time issue

Hi everybody,

I have tried many configurations but the ASCD delay time is always 212 µs.

First config ADCS threshold1 = 0x 65, must be 366 µs below 77,75 A but the result is 212 µs.

Second config.  ADCS threshold2 = 0x 15, must be 61µs below 77,75 A but the result is 212 µs.

    Hello Loïc,

    Can you share the .gg file before and after both of the tests? I'd like to confirm which protection is being triggered for each and the settings.

    Also keep in mind there is a T_detect time for the hardware protections that should be added to your programmed value.

    Hello Loïc,

    Please also make sure you are issuing the reset command after you make the change. Anytime a hardware function is changes a reset is needed for it to take effect.
