BQ25720EVM: Connecting SMBUS on battery management eval board to control a battery charger eval board

Hello,

I have BQ25720EVM and bq40z50EVM (battery charger and battery monitor evaluation boards). Is it possible to connect the SMBUS on each board together so the battery monitor eval board controls the battery charging eval board to charge a battery?

    Hi llya,

    I support BQ25720 and is not familiar with bq40z50EVM. However, BQ25720 is a SMBus slave and will do whatever the host tells it to do. It will react to whatever SMbus commands it received through the protocol. Feel free to post another thread with bq40z50EVM as the title.
