EV2400: Firmware Updater Flagged as Malicious

Hi Team,

Our customer downloaded the EV2400 firmware updater v0.32 but upon installation, their IT group flags the softare as malicious. They've cross-checked it with other virus detectors and it was flagged on 8 different services.

Can you help us check on this? Thanks in advance!

Hello Jejomar,

The installer on the EV2400 webpage for V0.32 is here: https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sluc706

I have not seen any customers with this issue before, I am guessing they just have stricter IT security. Usually you can submit the EXE file to the IT team to be cleared by the antivirus software.

Hello Jejomar,
Do we know if there was any verification done to check that it is the original TI file? I would ask customer to download it again from ti.com and check. Can you also check it?
