TPS62230: Alternative DC-DC Converter

I have difficultly in sourcing for the TPS62237DRYT/DRYR. There is simply no stock anywhere for the next 1 year plus. However the TPS62233DRYR/DRYT some small inventory at TI and also with other disti.

My question is, can I reply it with the TPS62233DRYT?

While I understand the TPS62237 Vout is 3.3V and the TPS62233DRYT Vout is 3.0V, Is there any possiblity of changing the external capacitor or inductor value supporting the TPS62233DRYT to make the Vout closer to 3.3V?

Hi Chiang,

Unfortunately, the TPS6223x family is only working with an internal divider. Therefore, it is not possible to configure TPS62233 at 3.3V Vout.

Most likely some of the TPS62230 family of DC-DC converters share the same base ASIC with different internal resistance value set or tuned during product testing. Is it possible to produce more of TPS62237DRYT/R? The market place is empty of this device.

Hi Chiang,

I understand that the current market situation is very challenging and it is very difficult to get enough stock.

We are working on this but as we have a long list of hero devices, it could be possible that this re-stocking process will take a couple of months more.
