Hi,

hello zhouyu, for this LM36274 IC, we have I2C only or I2C plus PWM brightness control. Which kind of control mode do you adopt? normally we can adjust the brightness register or PWM duty to change the brightness. To get minimum brightness, you may decrease the register value and the duty cycle to 1%.
As illustrated in the datasheet, we have the Backlight Brightness MSB Register(address=0X05) and Backlight Brightness LSB Register(address=0X04) to set the brightness, LED current. For example, 30mA LED current corresponds to 111(LSB register) 11111111(MSB register).
Then can I ask how do you set the I2C and PWM duty cycle? Maybe help have a screenshot of the configuration in the setting APP. Normally, the LED current can be programed via I2C or controlled by PWM ranging from 60uA to 30mA.
Do you use the LM36274 EVM GUI? Just want to know how you set I2C and PWM duty cycle. Normally the brightness of the lowest LED current should be very low.
If you use the LM36274 EVM board, it would be more convenient to use this GUI in the following link: LM36274 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com down to software development
