UCD9090: Importing from UCD9090A to UCD9090

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out if I can downgrade our current design from UCD9090A to UCD9090 (due to the current component availability situation). The Fusion Digital Power Designer (7.6.1) tool should be capable of doing that based on what I see in this post: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1029160/ucd9090-further-questions-on-the-difference-of-ucd9090-and-ucd9090a?keyMatch=UCD9090%207%205%201

I try to follow the procedure described in https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva908/slva908.pdf?ts=1633607450240 for importing the .xml file from our 9090A to the 9090.

When I try to import the file (UCD9090A .xml file) into the UCD9090 device, I get the following error:

Does that just mean that our UCD9090A design is using features that UCD9090 doesn't support or am I doing something else wrong?

UCD9090A is a product to replace UCD9090 and the last GUI does not support back compatible.

Please use Fusion GUI 7.5.1 [Public] to import UCD9090A project to UCD9090 Device.

I have this related case, if we use version 7.5.1, we shouldn't have to change my project (.xml) file at all? Correct?

Just wanted to give an update. I successfully downgraded from UCD9090A to UCD9090 using the 7.5.1 GUI. The assignments in the "Enable" column within the "Rails and Enables" tab was lost during the downgrade. The same with "Fault Shutdown Slaves", "Sequencing ON dependencies" and "Sequencing OFF dependencies". I had to do these manually although all of my former UCD9090A settings seem to be fully compatible with the UCD9090.
