UC1526A: Is there a spice model for the UC1526A?

I'm looking for a spice model for this PWM IC, is there one already developed?

    Hello Neli08,

    The UC1526A is an older controller and we do not have a Spice model for it.  Sorry for that.

    Are you "locked into" this part for a particular reason?  We offer many newer parts with Pspice or TINA models.

    For example, the UCCx8C4x family of products has Pspice models.

    Yes, I'm locked into this part.  Is there a way your team can modify existing pspice model to create something functional?

    Hi Neli08,

    Pspice models are a common request for the older controllers.  We have more recent Pspice models but the expertise to understand and/or modify them is spread throughout all of TI and across the globe.  There would have to be a business case to dedicate time and resources to this effort.  Also, it would take quite a while.

    I see some models available on the internet for SG1526.  According to TI's web site, the UC1526A is a replacement for the SG1526.  I think the quickest way to obtain a model would be to search for the SG1526 model.
