UCC28070: Starting up sequence , pwm output condition

Hi team,

We designed two boards, the power circuit and the control circuit based on ucc28070.

1 - Can i see the pwm signals on GDA and GDB when i supply with 12V to VCC pin of the controller , when pins like CSA CSB VSENSE and VINAC and the Power Circuit is not not connected?

Like the figure below?

After seeing the pwm signals, we want to connect the power circuit and make the connections of the other pins.

Do you think it would be beneficial to proceed in this way?

Yes, testing like this is a helpful exercise to make sure the controller is set up correctly before connecting the power stage. With VCC applied, you should be able to see GDA/GDB signals by forcing VSENSE and VINAC in the 1V to 3V range.
