Hi Team,

Could you kindly tell us how to calculate 51200-Q1 efficiency? Their is no data about this?

    Hi
    It is a LDO, the Efficiency is essentially Vout / Vin.

    In addition please refer to latest datasheet  section 10.3 on page 28. It provides the equationon input power consumption.

    Hello Amelie,

    You could use the following equation to estimate LDO efficiency:

    LDO efficiency = Po / Pin = [(Vout*Iout)/(Vin*Iin)]*100 = [(Vout*Iout)/(Vin*(Iout + Iq)]*100

    Notice that efficiency is determined by the ratio of Vin and Vout voltage and it is impacted by the extra operating current required to operate the device, typically refered as quiescent current or Iq.
