I have asked this before but the answer was not clear.
I want to be able to stack 1S battery protection circuits, that is have 1S battery packs each with their own protection circuits that I then put in series making a 12S battery pack.
The charger is across the entire 12S battery pack.
I was informed that if a single 1S pack goes open circuit whilst the whole pack is being charged then the FETs will see the whole reverse voltage?
Are there any 1S protection devices that specifically allow stacking?
