BQ28Z610-R1: When setting CC0 to 0, whatever we did, that RSOC will keep 100%

Part Number: BQ28Z610-R1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCCHEM

Hello Sir:

We are using BQ28z610-R1, but we have a problem when CC0 setting to 0.

Whatever we charged or discharged, that RSOC keeps 100% and FCC and RC keeps 0mAh.

Please refer our schematic as below, we already let VC1 and VC2 shorts together.

And please also refer our gg file as attached file.

Luna3-00.gg.csv

Please refer our log file too.

LUNA3-1S1P-GPC+GOD.RAR

Please help to provide recommendations for us.

Let us know which parameters we need to fix.

Thanks a lot.

  • Hello Statham,

The update status is 0x00, which means the gauging algorithm is not active and the learning cycle has not been completed yet. Any gauging parameters reported when the IT algorithm is disabled and the learning is not complete are not usable.

Retry the test after completing the GPCCHEM tool process and the learning cycle.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
