TPS62866: Without MCU use

Hi team,

My customer that wants to design in TPS628660BYCGR and he have a quick question.

If there is no MCU at their system, do they just need to set VSET resistor for setting the output voltage?

Like VSET=205K than OUTPUT will fixed at 1.1V ?

Hi Len,

Yes, you can use this device without the I2C interface. On page 4 of the D/S, it recommends to GND SCL and SDA.

You might also look at the TPS62867, which is a similar device without I2C and with an active-high PG pin.

Hi Chris,

There is another question.

They use VSET=205K than OUTPUT will fixed at 1.1V, if they use VSET=225K will output may be 1.13V?
