Hello,

I am wondering if there are recommended parts for the following microphone preamp power supply:

1. Vin=+5v, Vout=+48v Condenser Mic Phantom Power. 8 microphone connections will be possible, so 0 - 80 mA current consumption.
2. Each of the 8 microphones +48v phantom power supply should be switched independently from micro controller GPO logic. Would prefer to stay away from relays due to size.

Thank you for the reply. I will take a look at LM5157x series.

For switching the power individually to the 8 microphones, is there a switch you can recommend? It doesn't appear that something like the CD4066B (for example) will work with 48v.

Hello Youhao,

If i'm understanding you're looking for 1:1 (SPST) switches to simply connect or disconnect the 48V. I believe the max going through any one of these switches is 10mA for a total of 80mA total. Take a look at the TMUX821x. It can support from 10V to 100V so 48V won't be a problem and up to100mA on the switch I/O's. This is a 4 channel 1:1, so you'll need two total for your application.
