Hi TI support team,
This is Wistron company, and my name is Adan.
After reading the document "TI_UCD9090RGZR_Spec1-1", I have some questions about the monitor pin.
In the document shows as below:
- Chapter7.4.3: "The monitor pins can be configured so that they can measure voltage signals to report voltage, current and temperature type measurements. A single rail can include all three measurement types, each monitored on separate MON pins."
- Chapter7.4.3.1: A single rail can include all three measurement types, each monitored on separate MON pins. If a rail has both voltage and current assigned to it, then the user can calculate power for the rail.
As the above two descriptions, the monitoring function of UCD9090 can't monitor voltage, current and temperature at the same time, it needs to use other MON pin, Am I right?
On the other hand, as shown in "Chapter 7.4.3.1", UCD9090 can monitor voltage and current to calculate power consumption, so what should we do? Because the "Chapter7.4.3" shows "A single rail can include all three measurement types, each monitored on separate MON pins."
