Also, did you take into consideration the height of lead frame? Was the device and lead frame compressed which resulted in measurement error? Was the device placed vertical to the vernier caliper?

BTW, why is the height needed to be measured?

The measurement of height includes lead frame
another device was taken out for measurement (without acetone and scrape), and measured in at 0.83mm. So while the height is closer to the minimum (but still under) , it is unlikely that the lead frame was compressed

Height measured is for dimension check

Could you please take other device which has a different part number to compare your measured height with the height from datasheet in order to double confirm your measuring method?

we have always been using the same caliper, no such difference.

as the datasheet is 0.847 to 1.1, please check if this height that is below the min is acceptable?

1. Have you tested the height value before? Is it the first time to find the height difference?

2. Do you have other SOT236 devices in hand like TPS54202H, TPS54302/8, TPS56339, TPS562200/1/8/9 to check height value?

3. For the height difference, we will check internal and give you update soon.

1.What will be affected from the customer side if the height value is close to the minimum value?

2. Could you please offer the Lot Number of these devices?

3. Double confirm whether the device has been soldered or any other operations?

1. will check on the customer's acceptance. 

2. didnt managed to get any lot info 

3. no solder was done, neither was acetone or scrape. 

we tried to measure TPS54302DDCR before, 

Height range suppose to be : 1.1 - 0.84, actual : 0.84
