just want to check if I2C is stuck, will watchdog timeout reset the I2C or release the I2C bus. Or to reset I2C, the only way is to power cycle the part. Thanks.

Hi Ning,

the condition is that I2C of BQ25601 is stuck which pull DAT low, then the whole I2C bus is stuck. So customer want to know if watchdog timeout will reset I2C which can release DAT and if there is other method to reset I2C at such condition, for example, will QON BATFET reset funcition also reset I2C? Thanks.

Given,

I2C bus reset are different from register reset etc. Watchdog timer and BATFET reset function have nothing to do with I2C bus reset.
