Hey,

We are asked to build up a benchtop power supply with some new features.

we are ok with adding these new features like timers and other stuff.

I need to add TI chips in adjusting voltage from 0-20V and adjusting current 0-1A.

All I need to know what are the chips available to be used in this kind of applications.

Can you give your company name and application for this design? TI has many different power supply controllers that you might use for this application. Please refer to the power management selection guide by clicking on Power Management from www.ti.com.

hey,

I am from University of Moratuwa,Sri Lanka. We are going to design a BenchTop power supply to be used in our labs.

They don't want a switching mode power supply.What they want is a regular transformer based power supply with new look and features.

How can u help me?

This is a very non standard application. It is very interesting and I hope it turns out well. Once you define your topology and system level blocks, you will be able to search for TI components to complete your design at www.ti.com.
