Hello, I need a boost converter to run off of a battery (8-12.6V) and supply a 13.8V at 60 Amps.
It is difficult to find parts that are in stock (I need 1kpcs at least) that can do this. I like the idea of using 2 in parallel out of phase. I'm currently looking at the LM5123 (I had to use the LM51223 PN above as it didn't recognize the new LM5123 PN. With the new LM5123, I can get almost enough parts now and might last until I get more parts.
Are there other good options? What about the old UC384x series with some driver chip to drive the main FET and Synchronous FET? Old school but might be easier to find the parts.
Advice - thoughts?
Thank you!!
