Hi,

A part from EVM board and USB-GPIO what are the hardware parts required for implementation of the pfc?? Does it require UART ??

    No, the UART is optional.  

    In the past we used it for debugging before we went to PMBus.  There's also a setup for isolated UART communication with a secondary DC/DC, but neither of those are required for operation.  If they don't receive any messages they won't do anything.
