BQ76930: BQ76930 IC pins VC1 /VC10 cell monitoring damaging while using in tida-00449 reference design pcb

I am using tida-00449 reference design pcb for testing 10s bms. It is found that first(VC1)/last(VC10) cell monitoring channels damaging and showing 0Volt even the cell voltage is 3.3V. Even after changing the IC it gets damaging. Can any one help me to identify the reason and solve this issue.

Could you provide more information? When do you notice that the ICs get damaged? After cell connection, charging, discharging?

1.we already maid some changes CSD13381F4 (Q1....to......Q11) alternative 512-FDN359AN ( https://www.mouser.in/ProductDetail/?qs=Ijcsu5GIqwK48K3LmbFQcA== ) SSOT-3 is this any problem?

Hello Maneesh,

As long as the FET meets your requirements and the recommended specs, it should be okay.

Do you try to use cell balancing when the IC stops working? You cannot use a cell simulator (resistor divider) to simulate cell balancing. You need to use real battery cells that are able to maintain a stable current without a voltage drop.
