Hello Flob,

Is your issue solved or still get the same issue? Because I also get the similar type of issue in my BQ24045DSQT IC. So is there any solution so please share with me.

I get this type of voltage on OUT Pin (Waveform attached below) while battery voltage is in between 3.75V to 4.06V and also CHG Pin remains in high impedence state. After 4.06V OUT Pin and CHG Pin functionality working properly.

Hello Nishant,

This is the battery detect waveform, normally seen when no battery is connected. You can also see this if the battery protection circuit has been triggered from overcharging. Can you try charging with a 4.35V battery to confirm?

Hello Nick,

Okay. But we don't have 4.35V battery available right now. I checked same battery with BQ24095 IC and it's working fine. BQ24095 IC's specification is same and it is also give 4.35V as a output voltage.

Have you been able to probe inside the battery pack protector as I requested here: e2e.ti.com/.../3883096

How many units are you seeing this issue on?

Hello Nick,

We have total purchased 50 IC's out of that 15 are available right now with me and all are assembled to PCBs. This issue didn't come at initial level, after 3-4 months of testing and usage this will start coming in every ICs one by one. Now almost all IC have this issue.
