Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with LP3878-ADJEVAL / NOPB. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I have a question about LP3878-ADJEVAL / NOPB 3pcs that were ordered. It is designed to work with either LP3878MR-ADJ (SO PowerPad-8) or LP3878SD-ADJ (WSON-8). In this case, a filled with LP3878SD-ADJ device came, but it is necessary as by default
I want to know why LP3878-ADJEVAL/NOPB was set up not by default as usual

    Hi Ray,

    If I understand the question correctly, I think there is an error in the User's Guide document. The User's Guide says that the SO PowerPAD-8 (DDA) is installed by default, but the pictures of the fabricated boards on the product page show that the WSON-8 (NGT) is actually installed by default. This is a National Semiconductor evaluation board, so we have limited information available about the production of these boards.
