Hi,
I am looking at the bq24074 datasheet, and for a number of pins there are internal pull down resistors. Still, the text states "do not leave pin XX unconnected to ensure proper operation". If I am satisfied with the default settings with the internal pull downs, why would I need to add any external pull downs? Or am I missing something?
