Hi guys.

I'm using BQ20Z65-R1 with "BQ Gas Gauge Evaluation Software V0.9.80" and EV2400. I'm configured data flash and calibrated the board. I'm completed the chemical ID selection steps of the battery according to "slva725a" and uploaded the files to "">www.ti.com/.../gpcUpload.tsp". Result is ==> "Best chemical ID : 2096 Best chemical ID max. deviation, % : 1.62". So far everything's good. But this id is not in the bqchem list. My ChemUpdater version is v227. I think i need update bqchem. How i can update bqchem?

Thanks Shirish. I updated bqchem. I am using "LG 18650HE2 2500mA". But the battery recommended by gpctool is "LG 18650MG1 2850mA". Is there anything wrong here?

Hello Ahmet,

Many cell chemistries are similar and slight calibration errors while taking logs can result in matches to other cells. This is normal and can be expected during any kind of data gathering or use..

If you already know the model, you can pick that chemistry ID (2055 in this case).

We recommend that you check performance with both chemical IDs and choose the one that works best. Both IDs will give good accuracy as long as the log that was used for the match was taken correctly
