Hello,
we are fine tuning the advanced charging algorithm for a bq4050 gauge and have a question related to low temperature charging.
Our application uses dumb chargers so in low temperature conditions (from -10 deg C to 0 deg C) we would just allow Precharge, that in this pack is limited to ~0.05C, independently from the cell voltages.
We would then allow normal charging if temperature is above 0 deg C.
In another older gauge (like bq2084) this was possible, but in bq4050 It looks like that Precharge is entered only based on cell voltages.
Is there some workaround to achieve this ?
Thanks in advance
Pietro
