Hi All,

I have a question about TLC5927.

(1) Please tell me the on resistance of the OUT pin.

(2) Please tell me how to handle unused OUT pins.

Hi Ishiwata,

1) TLC5927 is a constant current device and its outputs are current sinks. The outputs need enough saturation voltage on them to get precise current. Section 7.10 on datasheet could be referred. I do not think on-resistance is helpful for design.

2) They can be floating or connecting to GND.

Does the open protection circuit work when an unused terminal is connected to floating or GND?

Hi Ishiwata,

If you turn off the unused channel, the open detection function would not work.
