Our customers have some questions about the application of TPS65993BF, the details are as follows:
1) From the datasheet we learned that TPS65993 has one I2C master interface port: I2C3m, and can contact to a I2C EEPROM. But we have some doubts about the function of the external EEPOM. We are wondering the external EEPROM can be used to save the firmware. Did it right? Or can u give us some explanation for the function about external EEPROM?
2) If an external EEPROM is used, does it mean that it can only be used in safe mode?
3) How to update the firmware, and which I2C interface was used for firmware update? What tools are needed? Do u have some user guide for it?
